The routine above runs to under sixteen minutes a month: check pH, drop in an enzyme stick, rinse the filters. Quarterly you soak the filters properly, and you drain and refill a few times a year depending on how heavily the tub is used.
It depends on bather load rather than the calendar. A couple using it a few evenings a week can go four to six months; a family using it most days is closer to three to four. Drain when sanitiser stops holding or foam keeps returning, whichever comes first.
Most owners sit between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius and leave it there year round. Holding temperature costs less than reheating from cold, and a lower set point reduces your freeze margin in winter.
