Hot Tub Service, Repair and Parts

Across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.

Start Here, Before You Book Anything

A large share of what gets reported as a broken hot tub is not broken. It is a clogged filter, a low water level, or air trapped in the plumbing, and all three starve the pump of flow and produce symptoms that look like a failed part. We would rather solve that on the phone than drive to your house and charge you for it.

So call or message us first with what the tub is actually doing. If it is one of the common ones, our troubleshooting guide walks through the checks in order and will often sort it in ten minutes.

What We Handle

  • Diagnosis. Tell us the symptom: weak jets, a breaker that keeps tripping, water that will not heat, a leak you cannot place. We will tell you what it usually means before anyone books a visit.
  • Parts. Filters, covers, jets, pumps, heaters and control components. Send a photo of the part or its label and we will identify it properly rather than guessing from a description.
  • Repairs across our delivery area, worked from Nanaimo, Victoria and Abbotsford.
  • Water care help. Cloudy water, foam that keeps coming back, sanitiser that will not hold. Usually chemistry rather than hardware, and usually free to fix.
  • An honest repair-or-replace call. Including when the answer is that your tub has years left in it.

What We Will Tell You Not to Fix

Some failures are the design rather than a fault, and paying to repair them buys you time rather than a solution. Shell crazing, a spreading network of fine cracks across an acrylic surface, is the shell itself failing after years of heat cycling and it does not stop. A leak buried inside sprayed foam insulation means cutting the foam out to find it, and the labour usually exceeds the tub's value. A rotted wood frame is structural.

If that is what you have, we will say so rather than quoting you for a repair we do not believe in. There is more detail in what can and cannot be fixed on an acrylic hot tub.

Where We Cover

Vancouver Island: Victoria, Langford, Sooke, Sidney, Duncan, Nanaimo, Parksville, the Comox Valley and Campbell River.

Lower Mainland: Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Squamish.

Outside that? Ask anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you well or point you somewhere that can.

Prevention, Which Is Cheaper Than Any of This

Most service calls trace back to two habits. Clean the filter on schedule, and change the water when it stops holding a sanitiser reading rather than when the calendar says so. Those two prevent the majority of what we get called about. The monthly routine takes under sixteen minutes, and how often to change your water covers the schedule by household.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you repair hot tubs in Victoria, Nanaimo and the Lower Mainland?

Yes. We cover the same area we deliver to: Vancouver Island from Victoria up to Campbell River, and the Lower Mainland from Vancouver out to Chilliwack, worked from our Nanaimo, Victoria and Abbotsford locations. Tell us the make, the model and what it is doing and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Do you sell hot tub parts?

Yes. Filters, covers, jets, pumps, heaters and control components. Tell us the model and, where you can, send a photo of the part or the label on it. Getting the right part first time is mostly a matter of identifying it properly, which is quicker with a photo than a description.

How much does hot tub repair cost?

It depends entirely on what failed, so we will not quote a range that turns out to be meaningless. What we will do is tell you before any visit whether it sounds like a part, a service call or something that is not worth fixing. A good share of what gets reported is solved on the phone at no cost.

Can you tell me if my hot tub is worth repairing?

We will give you a straight answer, including when it is yes. Jets, pumps, heaters and covers are usually worth fixing. Shell crazing, a leak buried in spray foam or a rotted frame are where repair cost starts approaching replacement value. There is more detail in our guide to acrylic hot tub repair.
