Buying in Nanaimo

Nanaimo is where this started, and the showroom here is the one with the most models on the floor. If you are anywhere on the central Island it is worth the drive to see several sizes side by side rather than choosing from photographs, because the difference between an E3 and an E6 is much more obvious in person than on a spec sheet.

Nanaimo's terrain is more varied than the south Island: a lot of properties are on slopes with tiered yards and multi-level decks. That makes two questions worth answering early. First, the access route, since stairs and slopes change how many people a delivery needs. Second, deck loading, because a filled spa with people in it runs between roughly 89 and 108 lbs per square foot depending on the model. On grade, neither matters.
