What Bullfrog Actually Did
Conventional spas plumb every jet permanently into the shell, which means a dense web of pipework behind the acrylic. Every one of those joints is a potential leak, and the whole configuration is fixed at the factory.
Bullfrog's JetPak Therapy System replaces that with removable modules. Each seat gets a receptacle, and a JetPak drops in. You choose the massage type per seat, and you can swap them later as you like, or as the household changes. Because the jets are in the modules rather than the shell, there is dramatically less plumbing behind the tub. That means the acrylic trade-offs still apply: a layered build with bond lines between materials that expand at different rates, and a surface that is porous at a microscopic level and can host bacteria over time. Eco Spa runs Ecozone ozone as the primary sanitiser, oxidising on contact and reverting to oxygen rather than building up in the water.
