Buying in Vernon

The BX and Coldstream are where a lot of Vernon's acreage properties sit, and rural usually works in your favour here. Wider access routes, more room to place the tub exactly where you want it, and no strata board to clear a change with first. The trade-off is often a longer run from the house to wherever the panel is, which is a non-issue on 110V.

Vernon's winters are enough to test a hot tub cover honestly, not just look good in a brochure photo. The R-40 rating and 350 lb load capacity on the Eco Spa's hard cover mean it is built to hold snow, not just insulate against cold air, which matters through a normal North Okanagan January.

Can the hard cover actually hold snow load through a Vernon winter?

Yes. It is rated to 350 lbs, which covers a normal accumulated snow load. You should still clear heavy buildup off it like you would a deck railing, but it is built to be sat and stood on, not just insulated.

I'm on a rural property in the BX with a long driveway. Does that change delivery?

It usually makes things easier, not harder. Rural access tends to be wider than an urban driveway. Tell us the surface and any tight points, like a gate or a culvert bridge, and we will factor it into the delivery plan.

Does cold weather affect how fast the Eco Spa heats up?

It takes longer to bring water up to temperature from a hard freeze than on a mild day, which is true of any electric hot tub. Running on 220V instead of 110V cuts that heat-up time if you want it, and you can add that wiring anytime after delivery.
