Does the tub work on well water?

Yes, in most cases. Fill happens through a garden hose connected to the filter housing, and a private well works the same as municipal water. Tell us about your setup ahead of time so we can confirm it before delivery.

Can I start on 110V if my panel is far from the tub?

Yes. Every model ships wired for both 110V and 220V, so a long run to the panel does not have to be solved before you buy. Plug into a standard outlet now, and add a dedicated 220V circuit later if you decide you want it.

Does the cold in the valley bottom cause problems?

No. The HDPE shell does not absorb water, so there is nothing inside it to freeze and crack, and the R-40 hard cover keeps the heat in even on the coldest nights the valley sees.
