Buying in Whistler

A lot of Whistler real estate is strata, whether that is a townhome complex near the village or a chalet with a shared deck, which means a hot tub purchase here often comes with a step nobody else has to think about: checking strata bylaws before you order. It is worth a five-minute call to your strata council before you commit, since placement and any deck modification usually need sign-off.

For the properties that are not strata, the bigger question is snow load and access. Whistler gets serious snowfall, and the delivery crew needs a cleared path the same width as the tub standing on edge. Plan your winter delivery with that in mind, or aim for a shoulder season if your schedule allows it, and the rest of the install, power, fill, and startup, happens the same visit.
