The Newest Shell in the Range
The E7 is the latest large spa design from Eco Spa, and the brief behind it was simple: take the features owners rate most across the lineup and put them into one shell. It is 77" square and 33.5" deep, holds 290 gallons and weighs 615 lbs dry. Inside are 28 jets spread across varied seating positions rather than lined up on a single bench, so each seat works a different part of the body.
It seats one to four. That is fewer places than the E6 asks you to fit into a similar footprint, and it is deliberate. The extra room goes into the seats themselves, which makes the E7 a tub you sit in properly rather than one you share shoulder to shoulder.
Who It Is For
Couples and small families who want a full-size tub without building their evenings around a crowd. If four people regularly use the tub at once and you want them all in comfortable seats with real jet coverage, the E7 is the model that does that. If you regularly need six or seven seats, the E6 is the capacity choice. If therapy is the whole point, the E7 DLux takes this same body to 40 jets with a variable-speed pump.
Running It
The E7 uses the same insulation approach as every Eco Spa: a one-piece rotationally moulded HDPE shell and an R-40 rigid hard cover that seals the top. Expect roughly $10 to $40 a month in BC. The range is wide because the variables are real: the season, where you live, how often you use it and whether you run it on 110V or 220V.
It ships wired for both voltages, so you can plug into a standard outlet on delivery day and decide on a 220V hardwire later. A 220V setup heats faster while the jets are running. See 110V vs 220V for the trade-off.
Deck Load and Access
Here is the calculation, so you can check it. 290 gallons at 8.34 lbs per gallon is about 2,419 lbs of water. Add the 615 lb dry weight and four adults at 180 lbs each and the filled, occupied tub comes to roughly 3,754 lbs. Spread over the 41.2 square foot footprint, that is about 91 lbs per square foot. On grade, compacted gravel, pavers or an existing patio it needs no concrete pad. On a raised deck, have the structure checked first. Can a deck support a hot tub? walks through it.
With the hard cover on, the E7 measures 79" x 79" x 44". Measure the narrowest point on the delivery path and send us photos before ordering. Delivery day explains what we look for.
Make It Yours
The E7 comes in the same shell finishes and panel colours as the rest of the range, with stacked stone or rattan panel styles. Upgrades are quoted per order: Ecozone natural sanitation, WiFi control and the Interior Mood Lighting System. Ask about current show offers, which sometimes include Ecozone.
What Every Model Shares
The one-piece HDPE shell, the R-40 lifetime hard cover, the lifetime shell warranty, 5x filtration and no concrete pad are the same on the E7 as on the E1. Moving up the range buys you jets, seats and space, never durability.
